Description
Learn one of Ceroc’s most iconic movements – the Hammer Throw. Twiggy will break down the technique step by step, before adding a variety of creative variations. You’ll leave with a set of hammer throw options and the confidence to use them in freestyle.
This is a workshop for confident intermediate dancers. It is not suitable for beginner dancers or dancers new to the intermediate class. If in doubt please talk to your class teacher.
Andy Twigg is a fantastic Ceroc teacher and will explain and demostrate in great detail how to implement the hammer throw moves and variations he has planned. Lead's will have a variety of hammer throw moves to add to their dance repetoire and Andy will ensure that follows know the techniques needed to follow the lead and incorporate any appropriate styling. You will be really pleased you booked onto this workshop!
There will be short breaks (tea, coffee, juice and biscuits are provided)
The price is £25 per person.

Description
Colwick Community Centre is a vibrant and much loved hub at the heart of the Colwick community offering fantastic facilities for special events, training sessions, activity or parties. The Centre is also home to a number of community and voluntary groups providing a range of services to local people from Yoga to Zumba and Ceroc dancing!>/p>
We are also the home to the long established Colwick Theatre Club as well as St Johns Pre-School, the only such facility in Colwick village.

In Nottingham follow signs to Nottingham Racecourse and continue past it on Daleside Road East (A612). At the second set of traffic lights turn left into Vale Road. The Colwick Community Centre is on your right after 100 yards. Turn right into the car park.
