As part of creating a New Event you have to choose a venue so you need to create the venue
before the events can be there.
The details page only requires a few fields
As you can see there is no checking on the information you enter, Latitude and Longitude are for future mapping
integrations but aren't used yet.
The description you enter will be shown when a user clicks on an event at that location or looks at the venue itself.
You can include contact information. The description can have any information including class schedules and freestyle
information so if you're not bothered about freestyles showing up on the home page you can edit the venue to show
what's coming up at no cost.
There are three other tabs Extended/Publishing/Other The information in Publishing/Other is not used as yet so you
can ignore them and click "Save".
You can always go back and edit the venue later if you need to.
The extended tab has two items of interest
The image is what people will see if they look at the venue and combined with the description it should make a good "shop window".
A thumbnail of the image shows and when its clicked on a larger version is displayed.
The URL is your website which is a link people will see and can click on.
